Job Description

The Morning Bulletin is seeking an experienced journalist to join the successful editorial  team at the Rockhampton-based multimedia operation.

You will join an online-focused newsroom at one of News Corp’s leading regional websites, generating the must-read content that is attracting thousands of customers to our online subscription.

The right applicant will be a reporter capable of handling breaking news stories and also writing compelling features and powerful in-depth investigative reports.

We value great storytelling and there are great stories to tell every day.

The ability to shoot and edit video with a good understanding of social media potential would be beneficial.

This is not an entry level position so people with limited or no experience in newspaper/website news media should not apply.

You’ll need to bring passion, a sense of humour and a can-do attitude to the job.

An attractive salary is available.

Rockhampton is the shopping and service centre capital of Central  Queensland and also the gateway to the tourism destination of the Capricorn Coast.
